Who Owns This Site

The owners

The people behind Trench to Trim also own three businesses: Plumbing Supply and More, a supply house for plumbing and heating parts; SoftPro Water Systems; and Quality Water Treatment. The site also has a working tie to Central Plumbing & HVAC, a plumbing and HVAC service company that works only in Bucks and Montgomery counties, Pennsylvania. Because of those ties, Trench to Trim is not a neutral third party, and it does not describe itself as one.

Pages with business links

Links to those businesses appear only on pages where the item genuinely comes up, and every link has a note beside it saying who is behind it. No other page carries them.

• Plumbing Supply and More: under-slab plumbing, PEX vs copper, toilet rough-in, fixture rough-in heights, water heater sizing and placement, the water softener loop, plumbing top-out, nail plates and blocking, plumbing trim-out, anti-scald valves, backflow preventers and expansion tanks, kitchen remodel plumbing and moving a toilet or shower drain. The links point to the category page for the part the article discusses, so a bid line or an inspector's note makes sense. Fitting the part stays with a licensed plumber.
• Central Plumbing & HVAC: plumbing permits and comparing plumbing bids, shown as one example of a local company's plumbing service page.
• SoftPro Water Systems: water heater sizing and placement and the water softener loop. Quality Water Treatment: rough-in plumbing and the water softener loop. On those pages a softener is one option if a water test shows hard water.

What linked businesses can't do

None of these businesses writes, edits or approves the pages, and none pays for a mention or a position. Links are ordinary links, with no tracking codes. The pages describe what a part is and what the codes and makers say about it; they don't rank products or tell anyone where to buy.
